The Sister Scholars Advisory Council has conducted critical research on ways to achieve health equity specifically: Accessing healthcare services, and improving mental health outcomes.

Tchicaya Ellis Robertson, PhD, founder and CEO of TRIBE Insights and Sister Scholars led this research effort in collaboration with DREF.  Black Americans face persistent disparities in healthcare access, utilization, and health outcomes, particularly in mental health.
