Education, Health, and Financial Literacy
Delta Research and Educational Foundation (DREF) will award Community Empowerment grants to Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Chapters.
This year in keeping with the Foundation’s focus on Economic Empowerment for 2026-2027, the Delta Research and Educational Foundation awarded grants to chapters for programs that empower African American women and their families through economic uplift.
A program can be conducted by a Delta chapter or sponsored in partnership with a community-based organization that has a similar mission and goals as those of DREF or the Sorority; the community-based organization must have a 501(c)(3) non-profit status. The grant award amount is $1,000.
